New research from the Knowledge Academy has revealed the most searched for Russell Group Universities, and the results are surprising.
You would think that Oxbridge would dominate google searches, but in fact the University of Manchester and the University of Sheffield came top with 94,1000 searches a piece each MONTH! They were closely followed by the University of Nottingham (91,500) and the University of Birmingham (91,410).
Cambridge came 7th with 74,370 searches beating Oxford by 2 places and 380 searches.

To achieve this, The Knowledge Academy inputted each Russell Group University in the keyword analytics section of online visibility and marketing tool SEM Rush, to establish the search volume: ‘volume’ is the average number of monthly searches for a given keyword over a 12-month period.
